For a child-safe home
Whether in the kitchen doorway, the hallway or at the stairs: at 77 cm tall, the gate keeps your child reliably away from steps, a hot stove and other danger spots.

One-handed opening
Whether carrying a laundry basket or your child: open the hauck gate one-handed from either side. The door swings back gently after passing through – always check it has latched fully.

Fitted without drilling
Simply clamp the gate between two walls or in the doorframe – using 4 adjustment screws with wall plates and adhesive pads. For a round stair railing, you'll need the separate hauck Y-spindles.

Finding the right width
Measure your opening at floor level and at 77 cm height. The gate, including the included 9 cm extension, adjusts from 84 to 89 cm at both top and bottom, so your opening could be just 84 cm wide at the bottom and 89 cm at the top. For wider openings, you'll need a second, separately available extension.

Important: The gate may look warped when unpacked – this disappears once you tighten all the screws.
